HCCP VISION FOR OCEANIA
AUSTRALIA
HCCP as AGAAR (Advisory Group on Australian African Relations) recommends that Australia shall adopt a strategic approach to Africa based on a renewed vision whereby the Government prioritizes activities that create long term and sustainable relationships across the entire continent; and realise significant mutual benefits; and to focus on areas where Australia is recognized as having a specialized offering in the strategic areas.

New Zealand and Africa
New Zealand has very few ties with the African continent, with the cosmetic exceptions of South Africa, Egypt, and the African Union via the UN. However, the country can ill-afford to stay on the margins of a rising continent galloping forward. Engaging New Zealand to expand its ties to new partners in Africa is imperative at the moment.
